Pro Bites Co (Probites Co., R 12/32, Rajnagar, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh 201001, India) runs probitesco.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you shop with us, why we collect it, and who else sees it. We have kept it short and specific rather than long and vague.

What we collect

  • Order details — your name, delivery address, phone number and email, and what you ordered.
  • Payment information — handled entirely by our payment provider. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
  • Account details — if you create one, your email and saved addresses.
  • Website usage — pages you visit, what you add to cart, your IP address and device type, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Anything you send us — WhatsApp messages, emails, product reviews.

Why we use it

To take payment, pack and ship your order, send you delivery updates, answer your questions, publish reviews you choose to leave, and — only if you have opted in — send you marketing. We also use aggregate usage data to understand what is and isn't working on the site.

Who else sees your information

We do not sell your personal information. We do share it with the companies that make the store work, and only so they can do their job for us:

  • Shopify — hosts our store and processes orders.
  • Our payment provider — processes payments.
  • Shiprocket and our delivery partners — receive your name, address and phone so they can deliver and send tracking updates.
  • Review, messaging and marketing apps we have installed — these handle product reviews, our WhatsApp updates, and email sign-ups.
  • Analytics providers — receive usage data about how the site is used.

Some of these providers store data on servers outside India. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

WhatsApp, SMS and email

When you place an order we will contact you on WhatsApp, SMS or email about that order — this is part of fulfilling your purchase. Marketing messages are separate: we only send those if you have signed up, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP, using the unsubscribe link, or messaging us.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and measure how the site is performing. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, though parts of the store may stop working properly if you do.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as we need them for tax, accounting and warranty purposes. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete it, or withdraw consent you have given. Email us using the details below and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting information does not affect orders we are legally required to keep records of.

Security

Payments run over encrypted connections through our payment provider and we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us card numbers, passwords or ID documents over WhatsApp or email.

Children

Our store is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
